How Many Grammys Does Each Voice Season 27 Coach Have? Breaking It Down

There are 21 of the esteemed industry awards between all four Coaches.

By Chris Phelan

The Blind Auditions of Season 27 of The Voice are officially in the books, and battle lines have been drawn — now it's time for the competition to really heat up!

How to Watch

Watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

With the Battle Rounds just around the corner, fans can't wait to see which Artists — and Coaches — step up their game. However, as equally wonderful as the Coaches are, their career accomplishments could indicate who has the upper hand as Season 27 gets even wilder.

That's right, we're talking about their Grammys — or, in one Coach's case, their lack thereof.

There are an impressive 21 Grammys between The Voice's Season 27 Coaches, and here's how the numbers break down:

John Legend

As far as accolades go, no other Season 27 Coach can touch John Legend and his jaw-dropping 13 Grammy wins! If you've ever wondered why some Artists gravitate toward Team Legend during the Blind Auditions, Legend's trophy collection could have something to do with it.

What's arguably more impressive than his 13 Grammy wins is his 33 nominations. Legend broke onto the scene in 2006, took home the Best New Artist Grammy and never looked back. Over the past two decades, on the strength of his solo work and his collaborative efforts, Legend has built on his legacy by winning Grammys in categories like Best R&B Song (for his stellar "Shine") and Best Song Written for Visual Media (for his collab with Common called "Glory").

Adam Levine

The Maroon 5 frontman has three Grammys under his belt thanks to his time with his ultra-popular band. In 2005, Maroon 5 won the Grammy for Best New Artist, effectively launching the pop group into the stratosphere! Adam Levine and his bandmates never looked back, releasing radio mega-hit after radio mega-hit.

Kelsea Ballerini

Though the Voice rookie Coach has been topping the country charts with every new single, Kelsea Ballerini has yet to win a Grammy, though she's been nominated five times.

However, as the youngest Coach in the competition by a wide margin (Ballerini is only 31), something tells us that a Grammy win or two in the future is almost guaranteed — if she keeps releasing songs like "Peter Pan" and "Cowboys Cry Too," she better start working on her acceptance speech sooner than later.

Michael Bublé

Michael Bublé is second behind Legend in Grammy wins. He has five! Bublé took home the Grammy in 2007 for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Call Me Irresponsible, which led many people to recognize him as one of the best up-and-coming stars of his generation.

However, in Season 26, Bublé proved that the number of Grammys a Coach has is irrelevant to winning — he led Team Buble to victory in his first attempt as Coach. Many fans consider him the odds-on favorite to go back-to-back and win again this time!

Only time will tell, and it all starts with the Battle Rounds.
