What The Voice Coaches have said about the season
Bublé told NBC Insider that his primary lesson from the previous season is to “be empathetic and warm and to always realize that [the Artists are] a mirror image of you and where you’ve been and where you’ve come [from].”
"This is about the Artists, for the Artists," he continued. "It’s not about us. We love being here. We love being part of the process. There’s a reason why we’ve come and gone, and the people in the red seats change, but the show stays successful. It’s because they’ve made sure they are so protective of the artists. And that’s the legacy of the show.”
Ballerini, meanwhile, is living the dream. "I got to fill in for Kelly [Clarkson] a couple years ago, for the Battle rounds," the country star told NBC Insider, recalling, "[After] I left... I have the screenshot of this group chat with all my girlfriends. And I said, 'I really want this job one day.'"
Levine is back in the swing of things after a hiatus, though he's not so happy about his home base. "The one bad part of this season is I have to sit in this filthy chair," Levine complained during a Blind Audition episode; Coach John Legend is in the seat Levine once held, and the Maroon 5 singer now sits where Blake Shelton was.

Legend is just happy to stay close to his real home. In February 2024, Legend told NBC Insider, "I live here in Los Angeles, I have four kids...It’s nice to work at home, basically, you know? And [it's nice to] be able to take my kids to school in the morning and then go to work."
