Most recently they both made appearances on the mega three-hour SNL50 anniversary special in February. Morgan was a surprise guest during a star-studded "Black Jeopardy" sketch alongside fellow SNL alumni Leslie Jones, Chris Rock, and Eddie Murphy. The hilarious moment also featured the reprisal of Kenan Thompson's game show host Darnell Hayes and Tom Hanks as his memorable Doug character

When speaking on his return to Rockefeller Plaza's Studio 8H, Morgan couldn't help but also reflect on the 2014 limo crash that nearly took his life.

“This is incredible,” he said on SNL50: The Red Carpet. "Just thank the Lord that I’m a part of this, that I survived the accident and I’m alive to be here for this.”

As for his "greatest memory ever" from his seven years on the series? “Lorne Michaels picking me to be a cast member,” he said. “Greatest. Can’t beat that.”
