All the Celebs at the 2025 SAGs Who Were on Law & Order

The stars in attendance had roots in the Law & Order franchise!

By Chris Phelan

The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards is in the books, and Law & Order stars past and present were celebrated in a major way!

How to Watch

Watch Law & Order Thursdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

One of the evening's highlights was a special video montage introduced by longtime Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Mariska Hargitay. Echoing the show's iconic opening lines, Hargitay highlighted many of the celebrities who started their careers with small guest roles across the franchise's shows.

"In the Law & Order universe, the dedicated actors who bring these stories to life are members of an elite squad known as the guest stars," Hargitay explained. "These are their stories."

From Timothee Chalamet — one of the night's big winners — to multiple cast members of the hit series The Bear, here's every celebrity who was in attendance at the 2025 SAG Awards with an L&O guest role or two on their resumes! And other stars who weren't in attendance who also got a shoutout? Sabrina Carpenter, Viola Davis, David Harbour, Sarah Paulson, Kerry Washington, Sebastian Stan, and more.

Timothee Chalamet

The 29-year-old, who took home the 2025 SAG Award for Best Actor, made his television acting debut in 2009 when he appeared in the Law & Order Season 19 episode, "Pledge."

His character delivered a few lines before being found in a pool of his own blood the next day, kicking off the episode's rollercoaster story — and Chalamet's incredibly impressive career!

Keke Palmer

The Emmy-winning host of Password — and mom to one of the cutest kids ever — once appeared in a Law & Order: SVU Season 7 episode called "Storm."

Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper was one of the highlights of Law & Order: SVU Season 6 crossover episode (with Law & Order: Trial By Jury) titled "Night," which saw him play a smarmy lawyer with more than a few secrets to hide. His performance is pure Cooper, and looking back, it's not surprising to see him have so much success throughout his career.

Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo, who knows a thing or two about guest-starring in the franchise, joined Palmer on stage at the 2025 SAG Awards in inviting everybody to "take a drink" if they've ever been on the show — nearly everybody in attendance obliged!

Zoe Saldaña

Over 20 years ago, Zoe Saldaña stole the show with an unforgettable guest spot on Law & Order: SVU Season 4, Episode 21: "Fallacy" — and you can check out a clip below:

Leighton Meester

A fresh-faced Leighton Meester got one of her first breaks in television when she appeared in the Law & Order Season 9 episode, "Disciple."

Jeremy Allen White

While many people believe the star of The Bear got his start with his role on Shameless, he really broke out thanks to three different appearances on Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU from 2007 to 2010. Jeremy Allen White played three distinctly different characters.

Liza Colón-Zayas

Believe it or not, Liza Colón-Zayas is the reigning queen of guest-starring in the Law & Order universe — she played five different characters throughout her career! There must be something in the water over on The Bear set — all the stars have deep roots in the iconic franchise.

Elle Fanning

In 2006, a very young Elle Fanning stole viewers' hearts in Law & Order: SVU Season 8, episode 8, "Cage," when she played an adorable child who survives a harrowing car crash into a river.

Tyler James Williams

The Abbot Elementary and Everybody Hates Chris starred in SVU Season 6, Episode 22's "Parts."

Ebon Moss-Bachrach

Yet another The Bear actor to make the list, Moss-Bachrach has played three different characters across the franchise in SVU, Criminal Intent, and Trial by Jury.
