Suits LA Creator Aaron Korsh Promises More Cameos Beyond Harvey Specter (DETAILS)

Just because we're on a different coast, doesn't mean we can just ignore the attorneys who turned Suits into a TV giant.

Earlier this month, actor Gabriel Macht opened up about his impending guest appearance as hotshot New York attorney Harvey Specter in the debut season of the Suits LA spinoff (new episodes air on NBC every Sunday evening). "I’m just doing it for the fans,” he said. "I think it'll be fun."

While fans are excited to see the return of a beloved character from the original USA Network run of Suits, the creator of both shows, Aaron Korsh, recently noted that Specter isn't the only character from the old show that will make their way to the screen on Suits LA.

Will other Suits characters appear on Suits LA?

Korsch sat down for an interview where he discussed the premiere of Suits LA and answered a question that's on the top of every fan of the original show. Luckily for them, his answer will not disappoint.

"Harvey is not the only Suits original character that we’re going to see this season," he teased during a recent interview with TVLine. "There will be at least one other original Suits character. I’m not going to say at what level."

Who could it be? Your guess is as good as ours at this point, but there's no denying Korsh has his pick of the legal litter: Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres), Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), and Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty), many of whom have said they'd be willing to reprise their roles. The latter seems like the most obvious choice; given the fact that Donna and Harvey got hitched in the Suits series finale, they're now something of a package deal.

Whomever it ends up being, though, Korsh doesn't want the new show to become a cavalcade of pandering fan service.

“I know that’s what fans want, but I feel like if it’s just a parade of old Suits characters, it would sort of harm the new franchise,” the creator added. “And I don’t think it would do a lot of favors to the old franchise either."

As for how Harvey is connected to Suits LA lead Ted Black (Arrow's Stephen Amell), Korsh explained that the two characters previously crossed paths in New York.

“Now, they didn’t work in the same office. Ted was a U.S. Attorney, but Harvey was in the District Attorney’s office. So what I came up with was they both played in this prosecutors’ league baseball team."
