Poker Face Season 2 Reveals More Guest Stars: David Alan Grier, Richard Kind & More

The cast for Season 2 is seriously packed to the gills with acting talent!

Peacock's hit series Poker Face has filled out its staggering collection of guest stars for Season 2.

Peacock announced today that the forthcoming batch of 12 episodes of the acclaimed mystery-of-the-week television series cooked up by Academy Award nominee Rian Johnson (Looper, Star Wars: The Last Jedi) will feature special appearances from the likes of David Alan Grier (St. Denis Medical), Lauren Tom (Futurama), Lili Taylor (Outer Range)Natasha Leggero (Another Period)and Richard Kind (Only Murders In The Building), along with an impressive roster of previously announced guest stars.

Poker Face's impressive lineup of Season 2 guest stars

Poker Face's already announced Season 2 guest stars include some huge names, including Alia Shawkat (Blink Twice), Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Ben Marshall (Please Don't Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain), B.J. Novak (The Office), Carol Kane (Between the Temples), Cliff “Method Man” Smith (The Deuce), Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton), Cynthia Erivo (Wicked), David Krumholtz (Oppenheimer), Davionte “GaTa” Ganter (Rick and Morty), Ego Nwodim (Saturday Night Live), Gaby Hoffmann (Transparent), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul), Haley Joel Osment (Wednesday), Jason Ritter (Matlock), John Cho (Star Trek), John Mulaney (John Mulaney Presents: Everybody's in LA), Justin Theroux (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice), Kathrine Narducci (Euphoria), Katie Holmes (Ray Donovan), Kevin Corrigan (Godfather of Harlem), Kumail Nanjiani (Welcome to Chippendales), Margo Martindale (The Americans), Melanie Lynskey (Yellowjackets), Patti Harrison (I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson), Sam Richardson (Veep), Sherry Cola (Nobody Wants This), and Simon Rex (Red Rocket).

Natasha Lyonne will, of course, be reprising the main role of Columbo-esque Charlie Cale, who possesses a rare talent for detecting lies in criminal situations. Lyonne also serves as executive producer alongside Johnson, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman, and showrunner Tony Tost (Damnation).

"Each episode is a mini movie, existing in its own world with a unique tone and vibe, featuring an eccentric lot of characters played by a truly gonzo parade of guest stars," Lyonne and Johnson said a joint statement. "We still can’t believe we got to work with rockstars like Cynthia Erivo, Katie Holmes, John Mulaney, and Awkwafina (and many many more, the list is kinda dizzying) who all dove into the game with joy and came ready to play."

When does Season 2 of Poker Face premiere?

While Peacock has yet to announce a firm premiere date for the second season of Poker Face, new episodes are expected to debut sometime this spring.

In the meantime, audiences can check out all 10 episodes of the first season right here (Season 1 garnered four Emmy nominations, with Judith Light taking home the award for Outstanding Guest Actress Performance in a Comedy Series).
