The Delicious Secret Ingredient in Snoop Dogg's Cookie Recipe (DETAILS)

Hint: It's a sticky-icky (and sweet) treat.

By Chris Phelan

Back in 2018, Snoop Dogg released a cookbook called From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg's Kitchen, filled with some of the most delicious recipes the iconic rapper could create. Among them is one particularly mouth-watering chocolate chip cookie recipe that has us immediately having the munchies!

How to Watch

Watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

In a December 2024 article found on AllRecipes, Snoop's recipe was reprinted in all its glory — and every Snoop fan owes it to themselves to make a batch or two as soon as possible. Of course, it's not just any old cookie recipe: It contains one very special ingredient.

Snoop Dogg's secret ingredient? Peanut butter. (What, were you expecting something else?)

Contrary to popular belief, adding peanut butter to the recipe does not turn the cookies into straight-up peanut butter treats. The effect is more subtle than you'd think, and we're sold.

"But here's the thing — these cookies don't taste like peanut butter cookies," the site reports. "Instead, the peanut butter quietly enhances the dough, adding just a hint of saltiness and nuttiness that balances the chocolate chips without stealing the spotlight. It's a subtle tweak that leaves you thinking, 'I can't quite put my finger on it' as you reach for another."

After learning how Snoop Dogg makes his morning bacon, we've decided never to doubt the D-O-double-G in the kitchen again. The former fan-favorite Coach of The Voice definitely knows what he's doing.

(Even though we're still on the fence about the rapper's rather unique way of enjoying doughnuts.)
