Parvati Shallow's Spot-On Boston Rob Impression Is Almost Scary: "Rob's in Charge"
Even Boston Rob was impressed with the DONDI Season 2 star's take on his signature accent.
Parvati Shallow not only has a reputation as “The Black Widow” of Survivor, but the Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 frontrunner can also channel "Boston Rob" Mariano at the drop of a hat — as evidenced by her spot-on impression of the famously strategic competition reality TV legend.
Parvati Shallow's Boston Rob impression is both flawless and hilarious
In an unaired clip of Parvati chatting with Dickson Wong — her DONDI Season 2 castmate and member of “The Family” alliance — The Traitors Season 2 star showcased her very best (and very thick) Boston accent, impersonating her longtime friend and DONDI Season 1 contestant flawlessly.

“Thinking about what Rob would say,” Parvati says to Dickson as they swing on a chair together at camp before displaying her expert impression. “He’d be like, ‘OK, Dickson, look. Stick with me, kid. I’ll take care of ya. I’ll take ya all the way to the end. But you gotta listen to me, OK? I know what I’m doing out here, I’m taking care of you. You just look out, you just do what I say, and we’re gonna be cool. It’s gonna be good. So you just gotta think three steps ahead; it’s the Boston Rob rulebook.”
And, yes, if you were wondering, the “Boston Rob rulebook” is a real thing. In 2013, the four-time Survivor contestant and Deal or No Deal Island After Show host authored The Boston Rob Rulebook: Strategies for Life, a book full of “solid, practical, straight-forward advice.” And Parvati clearly has a copy.
“This is Boston Rob rule 101,” she tells Dickson in a thick accent. “You gotta do what I say. The number one rule in the Boston Rob rulebook is: Rob’s in charge. Got it?”
“Got it, Rob,” Dickson responds.
“Great," Parvati says as herself, before adorably asking, "Wanna get a celebratory banana?”
DONDI players and fans alike were seriously impressed (and entertained) by Parvati’s impression. Boston Rob himself even commented on the video, “spitting straight facts!!!”
Aron Barbell, who also competed in DONDI Season 1 and became close friends with Boston Rob during his time on the show, also gave Parvati props. “This is in fact word for word what was said to me,” he commented on the video. “But with just more backwards hats.”
