Is a new episode of Chicago P.D. on tonight, March 6?
No. Along with the rest of One Chicago's show this month, Chicago P.D. is currently on a brief two week hiatus and will not air new episodes on Wednesday, March 6 or Wednesday, March 13.
When is the next new episode of Chicago P.D.?
Chicago P.D. will return on March 20 at 10/9c with Season 11, Episode 7 "The Living and the Dead," which will be another Voight-focused episode. NBC's synopsis reads: "An ongoing case hits close to home for Voight as Intelligence teams up with an SVU detective to track down a prolific offender."
What happened on Chicago P.D. in the last episode?
Episode 6's "Survival" was the first Voight episode of the season and saw him dive deep into an abduction case. With the death of his son, Justin, fresh on his mind, Voight had a special interest in helping the victim; a teen runaway named Noah.
The Intelligence Unit found Noah, but was unable to make any significant developments in identifying his abductor, so the case remains open. And in a surprise twist, at the end of the episode it's revealed that Voight brought Noah home to stay with him.

"I think it hearkens back to Voight and his card, you know, he used to have this CPD business card that he would give out to people," showrunner Gwen Sigan told NBC Insider. "If you kind of look at who he really connected with, it was always these, these young fighters, you know. These, these people who were survivors... So that's what Noah was to us. And he's this kid that is incredibly sweet and is such a survivor. Been through hell, and is just trying to get to the other side of it. And I think Voight sees that fight, and Voight sees that gentleness that this kid had, and it kind of wakes something up in him of wanting to help him."
Watch Chicago P.D. Wednesdays at 10/9c on NBC and next day on Peacock.
