Emmy Award-winner Amanda Seyfried is starring in the upcoming Peacock thriller Long Bright River, streaming March 13. In the eight-part series based on Liz Moore’s critically hailed book of the same name, Seyfried plays Mickey, a Philadelphia cop looking into a series of local murders and hunting for her missing younger sister.

Who is Amanda Seyfried’s husband?
Amanda Seyfried is married to actor Thomas Sadoski.
Seyfried has been acting for years now, and standout screen credits include the comedy Mean Girls, the musicals Mamma Mia! and Les Misérables, the biodrama Mank, for which she earned an Oscar nomination, and her Emmy-winning turn as Elizabeth Holmes in The Dropout. She's also done theater work, which is how she Sadoski: In 2015, Seyfried made her Off-Broadway theater debut in Neil LaBute’s comedy, The Way We Get By, starring opposite Sadoski. They played a couple that connects at a wedding.
However, their relationship didn't turn romantic quite yet.
Seyfried and Sadoski “began their romance when they reunited on the set of their … film The Last Word,” PEOPLE reported in September 2016 when the couple announced they were engaged.
The two married on March 12, 2017 “by secretly eloping,” Us Weekly reported. During an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on March 16, 2017, a happy Sadoski revealed news of their elopement. “We just took off into the country with an officiant and just the two of us, and we did our thing.”

“It was everything that it should be,” Sadoski shared. “It was just the two of us talking to each other.”
Like Seyfried, Sadoski, who grew up in Connecticut, is a versatile actor whose career spans various mediums and genres. He’s best-known for his roles in the drama series The Newsroom, which ran from 2012 to 2014, and the sitcom Life in Pieces, which ran 2015 to 2019.
In 2009, Sadoski was nominated for a Tony Award for his lead performance in LaBute’s relationship dramedy Reasons to Be Pretty. Other Broadway credits include The House of Blue Leaves and Other Desert Cities.
On January 8, 2023, Seyfried celebrated Sadoski in an Instagram post featuring a photo of him with kittens and a sweet recollection as the caption. "I met Tommy 8 years ago on this day for a play reading and remember feeling calm in a space that usually felt very vulnerable and scary. He still has that effect two kids and 27 pets later."

Who are Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski's kids?
Seyfried and Sadoski have two children. They welcomed their daughter, Nina, on March 24, 2017. In September 2020, Seyfried gave birth to their son, Thomas.
The couple is raising their kids on a farm in the Catskills Mountains in New York. The proud parents have shared occasional photos on Instagram of their little ones: on their farm, sharing a cuddle, and playing at home.
Seyfried has found work/life balance a challenge that she welcomes: "I have a full-time career and two kids,” she said. “It's a lot of work, but I love it.”
“For sure it sounds like it's chaotic,” she continued, “and it is in some ways, but I've also found so much peace in where I live.”
