Although their tenuous allegiances were put to the test in the final meeting of the Round Table, Dolores Catania, Dylan Efron, Gabby Windey, and Ivar Mountbatten ultimately prevailed, becoming the largest group to ever win the cut-throat reality competition.
How much money did The Traitors Season 3 winners take home?
In the end, the victorious four-some outwitted their competitors to bring home a final prize pot of $204,300.
“We did it,” an ecstatic Windey exclaimed after the win. “Despite all the odds, it’s the most Faithfuls to ever win and it — honestly, it feels so good.”
The final four will divide the pot four ways, with each walking away with more than $50,000.
It's a hefty reward for surviving the murder and mayhem that make the competition so ridiculously addictive, but for at least one loyal Faithful, the gold was just an added bonus.
“I wouldn’t have wanted to end with anybody else,” Dolores gushed of those who made it to the end. “We’re not leaving with money, we are leaving with friendships.”
How much did The Traitors contestants earn in the final Challenge?
Before the nail-biting conclusion to the third season, the final five contestants, which also included Traitor Britney Haynes, were given one final chance to add to the prize pot by competing in a harrowing two-part challenge.
Host Alan Cumming first instructed the competitors that $25,000 worth of gold and a collection of classic cars was hidden at a nearby neighboring estate — but first, they’d have to decipher which one. Using a single clue provided by Alan, the team was left to determine where the gold was being held, drive out to the estate, and make it back with the gold in the classic cars in less than 30 minutes.
The competitors succeeded with ease, but in true Traitors fashion, their challenge didn’t end there and the team was given one final gravity-defying task to increase their winnings. Each contestant had to take two bags containing $2,500 and attach themselves to the bottom of a helicopter with a harness. As they flew through the air, dangling from the helicopter, the players had to toss the bags into a ring of fire below. If the bag landed inside the circle, the money inside was doubled.
The challenge definitely upped the ante on bravery, but all five competed, ultimately earning an additional $12,500. Once that figure was combined with the $25,000 earned in the first part of the task, the competitors were able to add a total of $37,500 to the prize pot, bringing the final grand prize to the $204,300 figure.
