Harvey Specter Returns in Suits LA Episode 4 Teaser (WATCH)

At long last, fans have their first look at the return of beloved Suits character Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), who will come back to the franchise in the new spinoff series, Suits LA. 

Episode 3 ended with a promo for the next episode, fittingly titled “Batman Returns.” Sadly, it’s not nearly as much as fans want (what could ever be?) and it’s not quite our first look at what Harvey has been up to since Suits ended in 2019. 

First look at Harvey Specter in Suits LA

The brief teaser clearly takes place in the past. Specifically, Ted’s days playing amateur baseball in New York. While Ted is sitting at the bar with his brother, Eddie, Specter introduces himself and orders them both some Macallan 25. Those who watched the original Suits will know this is not at all out of character for the high-end-loving Specter. 

The two power players briefly discuss whether they could take the other head-to-head. It's unclear if they're talking in baseball or in court. Also unclear is whether their adversarial talk is just talk or if they began their relationship as enemies. 

Regardless, thanks to a brief moment in Episode 2, we know that whatever happened between them in the past, Ted likes Harvey. Specifically because he’s the only one more cocky than him. Tell us about it. 

When Will Harvey Specter be on Suits LA? 

Luckily for fans, the wait for the return of Harvey is almost over. Specter will make his triumphant return in Episode 4, but it’s unclear in what capacity or if we’ll get more of him beyond flashbacks to his days in New York. As those who tuned into the finale of Suits know, Harvey left the Big Apple to join Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle) in Seattle to start using his legal talents to fight for the little guy. 

That said, it seems Ted Black is a friend and it wouldn’t take much for Harvey Specter to board a (presumably first-class) flight down to LA to help out a friend. 

According to its description, it’s more Harvey’s past that is on focus in the upcoming episode. 

The episode's logline reads: “Ted and Erica take on Samantha to save Lester’s movie, but the battle may hurt his murder trial. Rick enlists Stuart’s help when a difficult actor is arrested. In the past, the danger of going against a mob boss sends Ted to an old friend.” 

Could that old friend be Harvey Specter? Probably, but we simply don’t know. 

Macht, who is coming back for a multi-episode arc, won’t be the only actor reprising his role from the original Suits. It was recently confirmed that Rick Hoffman will be back in Louis Litt’s shoes at some point on Suits LA’s current season.

As for when that happens as well as the answer to all our burning questions about the return of Harvey Specter, fans will just have to tune into Suits LA each week to find out more.
