As if The Pit weren't a messy enough government conspiracy, there's more!

The end of Episode 6, "Arlo Brandt," finally brought Rebecca "Bex" Henderson (Melissa Roxburgh), Jacob Hassani (Patrick Sabongui), and Oliver Odell (Nick Wechsler) together as a true (if still slightly mistrustful) team. Together, they uncovered a secret section of The Pit known only as Silo 12. While Odell was hesitant to offer up too much information about the secretive location, series co-creator J.J. Bailey told NBC Insider about Silo 12's origins:

"We started talking about these tunnels underneath connected to other facilities, as we always knew some of these real missile silos are connected by tunnels to control centers and things. So, we knew there was the ability to expand into other spaces and see what they are," he explained. "In the show, when we actually get to Silo 12 and realize what was going on there, it blows it up in an interesting way. It was so fun to finally get there because we came up with that place, I believe, in the mini writers' room that we had before the writer's strike."
