Is Saturday Night Live New Tonight, March 15, 2025? Host and Musical Guest

Is Saturday Night Live new tonight? Here's what to know about the March 15, 2025 Host and Musical Guest.

By Christopher Rudolph

Forget March Madness, it was March Mayhem last week on Saturday Night Live.

How to Watch

Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and Peacock, streaming next day on Peacock.

Following SNL50: The Anniversary Special, Season 50 returned with two back-to-back new episodes of SNL. On March 1, comedian Shane Gillis returned to host — his second time in just over a year — and the following week, Lady Gaga "Killah"-ed it on March 8 as both Host and Musical Guest.

This was the "Die With a Smile" singer's second time pulling double duty on SNL — the first being on November 16, 2013. For her latest appearance, she cast a magical "Abracadabra" spell celebrating her latest album, Mayhem.

So is Saturday Night Live new tonight? Find out below.

Is SNL new tonight, March 15, 2025?

No. NBC will re-air the SNL Season 49 episode with Host Emma Stone and Musical Guest Noah Kahan.

Stone's episode originally aired December 2, 2023, and was notable for being Stone's fifth time hosting. During her monologue, Oscar-winning actress was inducted into the exclusive Five-Timers Club, becoming its youngest member.

Fellow members Tina Fey and Candice Bergen made a special cameo to present Stone with her special Five-Timers Club velvet jacket. The Poor Things star and A Real Pain producer later revealed on The Tonight Show that they don't let you keep the jacket, but that didn't stop her from taking it home anyway.

"And now it's in my closet," Stone told Jimmy Fallon during her June 20, 2024 Tonight Show appearance. "But they also know where to find me." Fun fact: Stone met her husband, Dave McCary, on the set of SNL, where was a segment director and writer from 2013 and 2018 (McCary returned to helm the "Papyrus 2" sketch in Ryan Gosling's Season 49 episode.)

This was Noah Kahan's debut as Musical Guest. The singer-songwriter performed "Dial Drunk" and the title track from his hit album, Stick Season.
