Is there a new Dateline on tonight, March 14, 2025?
Yes! A new episode of Dateline airs on Friday, March 14, at 9/8c on NBC.
Reported by Dateline correspondent Blayne Alexander, Friday’s episode unpacks new information related to the 2013 murder of Desiree Sunford, who was found dead in her Yakima County, Washington home.
“Middle school art teacher Desiree Sunford is shot to death in the home she shared with her husband. New evidence and testimonies poke holes in the story of a harmonious three-way affair between the couple and a mutual friend, who speaks exclusively with Dateline,” a synopsis for the episode “Deadly Entanglement” reads.
For this report, Alexander speaks with Sunford’s loved ones, including her brother and friends, as well as detectives involved in the case and more key figures. In a preview for Friday’s Dateline episode, Alexander describes the investigation as a “case loaded with secrets, sex, and obsession where the killer was as unexpected as the victim.”
How can I watch Dateline?
How can I watch past episodes of Dateline?
There are currently 15 past seasons of Dateline available to stream on Peacock right now. You can watch episodes from Seasons 18 to 32, as well as previously aired episodes from Season 33, including last week’s new report featuring Keith Morrison's exclusive interview with Lori Vallow Daybell.
Nicknamed “Doomsday Mom,” Vallow Daybell and her husband Chad Daybell were both convicted of killing her children, Tylee Ryan, 16, and Joshua “JJ” Vallow, 7. Despite the fact that she was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, Vallow Daybell told Morrison she believes she and her husband, who was sentenced to death by a jury, will be exonerated.
“I have seen things in the future that Jesus showed me when I was in heaven,” she said in her first televised interview from prison. “And we were not in jail, and we were not in prison, and they were still in the future, from now.”
