AnnaSophia Robb says Grosse Pointe Garden Society has "a lot of flavors"
AnnaSophia Robb, who plays high school English teacher Alice on the series, stopped by TODAY on Friday, February 21 to gush about Grosse Pointe Garden Society. When asked about the whodunnit premise of the show, Robb described it as "kind of a popcorn murder."
"We really have a lot of flavors in the show, where there's a lot of comedy, drama, it's saucy, we've got some romance, it's funny," she explained. "I remember when I first read the pilot I just flew through it. I was laughing, I felt emotional, and when I got to the end there was a cliffhanger, and I was like, 'I know I'm just auditioning, but can I get the second episode because I need to know what happens.'"
As for who gets murdered on the series, Robb revealed that despite being one of the stars of the show, she only recently found out the answer. "We were placing bets as a crew and a cast. We were all on pins and needles, trying to figure out who dies," she said during her TODAY visit.
