Since last week was a half-century in the making, is Saturday Night Live new tonight? Find out below.

Is SNL new tonight, February 22, 2025?

No.

There will not be a new episode of SNL this week, as the cast and crew take a much-deserved break after all the SNL50 festivities. NBC will be re-airing the December 7, 2024 episode hosted by Paul Mescal, with Musical Guest Shaboozey.

For his first time hosting SNL, Mescal not only demonstrated his comedy skills, but also his impressive singing ability when he starred in a merry musical version of his swords and sandal sequel, Gladiator II. Other highlights from the episode included a Spotify Wrapped parody featuring a cameo from Trisha Paytas, and the return of Dana Carvey's Church Lady.

As Musical Guest, Shaboozey treated the audience to a performances of "Good News," and "A Bar Song (Tipsy)."

Shane Gillis and Lady Gaga are your next SNL Hosts

Shane Gillis and Lady Gaga have been announced as the next two Hosts for SNL. Gillis will host the March 1, 2025 episode, with Musical Guest Tate McRae. The following week, Mother Monster will cause mayhem on the SNL stage as she pulls double duty as both Host and Musical Guest for the March 8 episode. Gaga will be celebrating the release of her latest studio album, Mayhem, which will be released the day before, on Friday, March 7.

Gillis made his SNL hosting debut on February 24, 2024, and Gaga previously hosted on November 16, 2013.
