Gabby Windey, one of the last remaining contestants on Season 3 of The Traitors, is a Faithful on the hit reality competition show, but now she’s also promised to be faithful to somebody else: her wife. The Bachelorette-turned-Traitors star recently revealed she had a surprise wedding in Las Vegas, where she married comedian Robby Hoffman.

The couple broke the news of their marriage on March 5, having gotten secretly married a few months earlier, on January 11, 2025, in Las Vegas. They spoke at length to Cosmopolitan about the nuptials.

How long were Gabby Windey & Robby Hoffman dating?

Prior to The Traitors, Windey was best known for appearing in Season 26 of The Bachelor and co-starring in Season 19 of The Bachelorette alongside Rachel Recchia. That season ended with Windey getting engaged to Erich Schwer, but the relationship didn’t last long after the show ended.

In August of 2023, Gabby revealed that she was now dating Hoffman, a Brooklyn-born stand-up comedian and writer, during an appearance on The View

The pair didn’t have their hearts set on a Vegas wedding from the start. Instead, the ceremony happened after they’d left their Los Angeles home for the safety of Vegas during the wildfires that devastated L.A. at the start of this year.

“It all started when she smelled the smoke,” Hoffman told Cosmo, and the couple recounted how they quickly made the decision to evacuate once they noticed ash coming into their house. They brought their cat, a painting by Hoffman’s grandfather, and Gabby's podcasting equipment as they headed East. Initially, they wanted to stay in Palm Springs during the fires, but when they couldn’t find a hotel room, they decided to just keep driving to Vegas. One thing led to another.

How did Robby Hoffman propose to Gabby Windey?

Windey said that Hoffman was already planning on proposing to her in six months (with Hoffman adding she had been proposing to her since the beginning of their relationship), but the respite of being in Vegas, albeit during stressful circumstances, was something of a blessing.

“We realized, we get a lot of attention — as a couple, as individuals, for what I do for work, for what she does for work — we get a tremendous amount of attention. It’s something we appreciate and we love,” Hoffman said. “But you know what? Having this moment just for us? It felt right.”

Hoffman decided to propose via a custom crossword puzzle that a friend made for her, where the answers would spell out “WILL YOU MARRY ME GABBY.”

However, Windey wasn’t getting all the answers right — filling in “DEED” instead of “WILL” for the clue “a document signed when someone dies,” for example. Hoffman recalled watching Windey miss the point and feeling “so nervous.” But, eventually (and with just a little help), Windey solved the puzzle — and said yes.

All about Gabby Windey and Robby Hoffman's wedding

They got married the next day, at the same Las Vegas chapel where Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker tied the knot. Hoffman picked out the chapel and went ring shopping while Windey looked for dresses.

“At first I wanted to go full Kourtney Kardashian, where she went in casual leather and Prada sunglasses, but we wanted to do our own thing,” Gabby recalled. “I went into department stores and the first dress I saw on the mannequin was off-white lace, and I was like, ‘This is gonna be it.’ It was the only one they had in stock. It was a little tight and made my butt look huge, but it was perfect. Everything just fell into place so naturally. It felt so serendipitous and so precious and so meant to be.

They walked down the aisle to Chappell Roan’s “HOT TO GO.” The entire wedding cost $799.

“And then we were married. And on the way back, we had to pick up air purifiers with our cat,” Hoffman said. “Our house survived and we were returning married to whatever the state of the neighborhood was. We got so lucky. We really didn’t know how our house would turn out. All we knew was we had each other and felt home in each other.”

“People are like, 'How does it feel after you’re married? Does it feel the same?' And the answer is honestly no — it feels better. I feel more committed. This is my wife,” Gabby said.

Is Hoffman married to a The Traitors winner? We’ll see when The Traitors Season 3 finale airs this Thursday.
