Is a New Episode of Law & Order on Tonight? (March 2023)
Watch Law & Order on NBC Thursdays at 8/7c and the next day on Peacock.
Season 22 of Law & Order has been a nail-biting watch, but it seems like the action is simmering down in the upcoming weeks as the series goes on a brief hiatus in releasing new episodes.
Law & Order's iconic ripped-from-headlines formula has cooked up some intense moments this season, with drama that has fans on the edge of their seats. Detective Shaw (Mehcad Brooks) has been settling into his new position alongside his veteran partner, Frank Cosgrove (Jeffrey Donovan), and it hasn't been the easiest induction into the team.
To recap: The last time we saw Shaw and Cosgrove was in Episode 15 ("Fear and Loathing"), when the two partners were tasked with unraveling an insidious lineup of false police reports that intended to cover up an actual murder. After Shaw filed a complaint against two racist patrol officers, he faced unforeseen consequences with Internal Affairs, further aggravating the Law & Order newbie. DA Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston) and his team have been busy trying to keep the streets of NYC peaceful, and it's come at some hefty costs. Fans can't wait to see where the action will head next.
But unfortunately for Law & Order weekly watchers, Season 22 is taking a break from releasing new episodes. Keep reading to find out how to watch and stream new episodes of Law & Order Season 22.

Brooks has been an amazing addition to the Law & Order dynamic, and funny enough, he's a lifelong fan. "I've been watching it since I was a kid, so when I heard that they were doing a reboot, there was an excitement in me. I didn't know that they were interested in me, but that conversation came pretty quickly," Brooks told ScreenRant. "I'm at the point in my career where if something doesn't feel like a, “Hell yes,” I don't really want to do it. But this felt like a, “Hell yes” immediately. Not just because it's this institution, and I’ve been such a fan for a long time. But it also puts you in a very unique position, or puts me in a very unique position, to have a conversation, or at least help the conversation between the Black community and police."
