For the second time since taking office, President Joe Biden is delivering the State of the Union address on Tuesday, February 7.
The annual speech garners one of the largest audiences of the year, watched by millions all over the world as the president delivers his message to Congress. The 2023 State of the Union will look a bit different than Biden's previous address, as Biden will now deliver his speech to a divided Congress after Republicans took control of the House in 2022. (The Democrats maintain their hold of the Senate.)

How to watch the 2023 State of the Union
The 2023 State of the Union will air at 6 p.m. PT/ 9 p.m. ET February 7 on NBC, as well as every major broadcast and most cable news networks. NBC News will provide live coverage and real-time updates of the president's speech and the response, anchored by NBC Nightly News' Lester Holt and NBC News chief legal correspondent Savannah Guthrie. Check your local listings to tune in to the 2023 State of the Union live, or watch via livestream on Peacock.

Speaking about what Biden will cover during the address, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told Deadline, “The president will underscore the progress we have made during one of the most challenging times…in history.”
