Mark-Paul Gosselar & Shanola Hampton Reveal "Dream" Found Crossover - and Law & Order Fans Will Love It
Imagine Gabi Mosely meeting Olivia Benson. We don't think our minds could handle it!
Will Gabi Mosely or Sir ever show up in another NBC show? Found stars Shanola Hampton and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, aren't opposed to the idea, as we recently discovered while interviewing both actors on separate occasions.
Hampton, who also serves as producer on the hit missing persons drama, would love for Gabi to solve a case alongside Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) on an episode of Law & Order: SVU, which is currently in the middle of its 26th season.
The NBC universe is a huge one, after all, so why can't Shanola and the team at M&A dream big?

"She's the queen," Hampton tells NBC Insider with regards to Benson. "Why would I not want to be in the same [space as her]? And it’s the crossover that makes the most sense. If someone from an underserved community is missing, then we cross [paths] and we could look for the person together. We'll be in New York, no problem."

"That would be kind of epic," echoes Gosselaar. "To have an SVU/M&A kind of crossover thing there. Or maybe Shanola's on SVU. I don't know. That would be cool."
For his part, Gosselaar (who previously made a guest appearance in SVU's third season as a pornographic actor named Peter Ivanhoe over two decades ago), is raring for a return to the world of Law & Order, though not necessarily as Hugh "Sir" Evans. With that said, he's become quite accustomed to playing the bad boy.
"I wouldn't want to play the role that I played, when I was on SVU again," he says. "I think once you play a porn star, you can't really go back to that well too many times [laughs]. But I would love to play a detective — some sort of bad detective, maybe. You know, a little mustache twirler since those are the characters that I've been recently playing."

But hey, he's not picky. He'll take a guest role in Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. too. Pretty much anything created by Dick Wolf, really. "Kind of bring it back to when I played a detective on NYPD Blue," the actor notes. "NBC has a great lineup and there's a lot of fun shows."
And what about other folks crossing over into the world of Found? "I've worked with such great actors in the past. I would love to see them on the show as well," finishes Gosselaar. "There's room for many. And hopefully, we'll get many more seasons and could just have a bunch of people involved. I think it would be cool to have a crossover."
New episodes of Found premiere on NBC every Thursday at 10 p.m. ET.
