SPOILER ALERT for Season 1, Episode 12 of St. Denis Medical
Playing the role of Jonathan Carter, he is seen by Dr. Bruce (Josh Lawson) and after the results of a test come back, the conceited doctor diagnoses him with the Bubonic plague, also known as black death.
Mr. Carter brought Jasper, his emotional support cat with him, and after revealing a scratch his pet gave him, Bruce figures that his plague could have been transmitted from his cat.
Before he can get a swab from the cat to determine his theory, though, it gets loose and runs free in the hospital. In an effort to keep the possible super spreader’s condition under wraps, executive director Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Covey) enlists nurse Matt (Mekki Leeper) to help them catch the cat.
And, after a series of unsuccessful attempts, including leaving cat food in a hallway to draw him out and checking security cameras, the cat is finally spotted. Joyce accidentally reveals to everyone that it was the plague, causing everybody to be terrified.
While the cat is wreaking havoc it almost touches nurse Serena (Kahyun Kim) which causes Matt to risk himself and go after the cat, ultimately catching him and saving the day.
Will any other animals find their way to the hospital?
