Found Finally Reveals How Gabi & Sir Started Working Together - and it Was All About [SPOILER]
Found Season 2, Episode 12 takes us back to the start of Sir's imprisonment in Gabi's basement.
**SPOILER WARNING! The following contains major spoilers for Found Season 2, Episode 12!**
Tonight's episode of Found took us back to the very beginning of the twisted working relationship between Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and Gabi (Shanola Hampton) that lasted for all of Season 1. Driven slightly insane by the premature death of her father — who basically drank himself into an early grave — and supported by Dhan (Karan Oberoi), Gabi captures her ex-kidnapper at the farmhouse and locks him in the basement, with the express intention of killing him.
"To be back in that basement and shooting with Mark-Paul was so exciting," Hampton tells NBC Insider. "Those scenes were so intense. It was just so juicy, and it fulfilled me so much as an artist."

Found Season 2, Episode 12 reveals origin of Gabi and Sir's twisted partnership
Before she can pull the trigger, however, Margaret (Kelli Williams) turns up with a potential lead on Jamie. A pipe burst at the bus station and when repair workers went to fix it, they found human remains. Despite the fact that he's been running from the law for over 20 years, Sir has made a determined effort to keep up with his precious Gabrielle's career with Mosely & Associates, which means he's familiar with the specifics of Jamie's case. As such, he offers up his expertise in profiling kidnappers, given the fact that A) He is one and B) He has no emotional connection to this particular investigation.
"You have always had this inflated sense of self," Gabi fires back. "I don't need you, I never did. I was brilliant before you and I'll be brilliant when you're gone." According to Hampton, who is also a producer on the show, she insists on not rehearsing scenes with Gosselaar ahead of time in order to capture authentic emotion.

"I love to be organic. I don't like to rehearse," she explains. "He would love it if I rehearsed, but then I think he sees how special it is, because that's a choice I [make] as an actor. I want the audience to feel what I felt in each moment. And yes, we do different takes, but the thing about working with someone who is as great and open as Mark-Paul, is that each take has something different in it. So no, we don't talk about the scenes. We go, we connect in the eyes, and we just go and get it right."
Gabi then forces Sir to read out a confession, owning up to not only taking Gabi, but indirectly being responsible for her father's death. She gets very close to killing him when he proclaims that the remains discovered underneath the bus station don't belong to Jamie. How does he know? A specific book of poems found with the body was printed years after Jamie went missing. They begin to work the case together, walking through all the possible explanations until they can confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that the decaying corpse does not belong to Margaret's son. This turns out to be true; the body actually belongs to a young girl named Eva Logan, who was abducted and murdered by a deranged librarian from North Carolina.
Realizing Sir could be a real asset to helping others, Gabi decides to keep him alive and make some lemonade from the sour fruits of the man's sick mind. Jamie, of course, wouldn't return until nine months later, but is it really Jamie? Margaret (Kelli Williams), who has dreamed of this for years is certain of it, but the rest of M&A isn't so sure.
