To recap: Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) explored a new workplace romance, Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber) received a life-saving kidney transplant from his recovering addict son, charge nurse Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) went through a divorce before striking up a connection with a surgeon and medical helicopter pilot, and Dr. Hannah Asher (Jessy Schram) started dating Gaffney newbie Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell). Med's ED renegade Ripley also had his share of sensational storylines—from confronting Dr. Charles (Oliver Platt) about their troubled history to flirting with Dr. Asher.
