To mark the occasion, Fallon has announced that NBC celebrate the show's biggest and best moments on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: 10th Anniversary Special.

"Exciting news around here: This past week was officially our 10 year anniversary of The Tonight Show," Fallon shared on the February 26 episode. "We are so grateful that we get to do this job. I want to thank everyone on our staff and crew, and of course, all of you for tuning in every single night for the past 10 years."
"To celebrate, NBC is going to air a two-hour primetime Best of Tonight Show special May 14, featuring some of our favorite sketches, guests, and musical performances," Fallon continued. "From ‘Tight Pants’ with Will Ferrell to me almost dating Nicole Kidman, and musical bits like ‘Classroom Instruments’ with Metallica and Adele. We’ve had so many fun moments.”
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: 10th Anniversary Special will be a packed two hours if you consider the best "Classroom Instruments" performances alone.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon two-hour 10th anniversary special will air May 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC, streaming the next day on Peacock.
"Set your DVRs and get ready to have a party," Fallon added when he announced the special.
“From Saturday Night Live to Late Night to The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon stands as one of the greatest performers across NBC’s rich history,” Mark Lazarus, chairman, NBCUniversal Media Group, said in a statement. “Over the past 10 years, Jimmy has broadened The Tonight Show with his signature brand of humor and continues to deliver laughs to millions of people night after night. We couldn’t be prouder that this iconic NBC show bears Jimmy’s name.”
Since The Tonight Show made its national debut back in 1954, there have been six hosts: Steve Allen, Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, and Fallon.
