The Hunting Party's Sara Garcia on Her Character's Brother-Sister Bond with Odell
The bond between The Hunting Party characters Odell and Jennifer is deeper than you'd think.

In The Hunting Party, the biggest mystery that the team of experts must solve is how serial killers managed to escape the most secure and secretive prison in the world, known as The Pit.
Involved in the recapture group is prison warden Oliver Odell (Nick Wechsler). Because of his dark past with the FBI, which ended after he killed a man to save a young girl, the breakout of criminals he was supposed to watch makes him a prime suspect.

This is conflicting for his former partner, past fling, and possible future love interest, Agent Rebecca “Bex” Henderson (Melissa Roxburgh), to navigate. Though, it also poses uncertainty to someone else very close to him: Jennifer Morales.
The Hunting Party’s Sara Garcia on Morales and Odell’s relationship
Actress Sara Garcia plays Jennifer Morales, a fearless major in the military who is assisting the team as an intel officer. As a core member of the Hunting Party team, she often finds herself working side by side with Odell at HQ while Bex, CIA agent Jacob Hassani (Patrick Sabongui), and recent Pit prison guard Shane Florence (Josh McKenzie) are out in the field.
Garcia recently explained in an interview that the connection between her character and Odell is different from his connection with anyone else, even Bex.
“From Morales' perspective, she gets to be with Odell on an everyday basis, working closely with him, and I think it's interesting that Morales is seeing the man underneath all the mystery and it does form a bond there,” she told Screen Rant. “I like to consider it an older brother and younger sister relationship. I think for Morales, she is seeing Odell on a day-to-day basis, and she's sort of getting a glimpse of him that the other teammates are not.”

With speculation surrounding Odell, coupled with each escapee and their stories creating even more burning questions, the quest to uncover the truth to this great escape keeps fans wanting more.
“The mystery of the pit is a through line that keeps us on the edge of our seats,” Garcia continued. “As we watch, we really do want to know what's going on there. Why were they holding these serial killers in secret? What were the experiments all about? The biggest thing that sets the show apart is that mystery, and wanting to get to the bottom of that and really sink our teeth into that."
