Elphaba and Glinda Will Be Part of the Fun at Universal Fan Fest Nights in Hollywood
The Wicked witches will be mingling with fans at the brand-new event this spring at Universal Studios Hollywood!
Raise your wands and rejoice because the upcoming Universal Fan Fest Nights, a brand-new fan-centric evening experience at Universal Studios Hollywood, has added two special guests to the festivities - Glinda and Elphaba from Universal Picture’s cinematic adaptation of Wicked.
The pair will make their West Coast theme park debut when Universal Fan Fest Nights has its inaugural run April 25-27; May 2-4, 9-11 and 15-18, 2025.

This all-new, after-hours celebration caters to the ultimate fans of beloved properties including Back to the Future, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, Star Trek, Dungeons & Dragons, and the anime worlds of One Piece and Jujutsu Kaisen.
Where you’ll find Elphaba and Glinda during Fan Fest Nights
In case you missed Wicked last year in theaters, the film and its extra features will be available to stream on Peacock starting March 21, 2025.
The book, the musical and the film tell the epic "untold" back story of Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), the infamous Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda (Ariana Grande), the Good Witch of the North first introduced in L. Frank Baum's 1900 children's book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Last year, Universal Studios Hollywood rolled out the green and pink carpet for the film in the theme park with special themed food, merchandise areas and a Wicked photo op near the main entrance. For Universal Fan Fest Nights, fans will get to interact with the witches fully adorned in familiar costumes from the film as they greet guests near that existing Wicked photo op stand.
The Feature Presentation store located within the theme park will also offer guests a memorable Wicked experience with its large collection of exclusive Wicked inspired merchandise, from elevated apparel, home goods and accessories to toys and more.
If you’re still not sure what Universal Fan Fest Nights is, think of it as the ultimate immersive, cosplay encouraging fan event that caters to dedicated fans who want to really dive into their favorite fandoms in unique, experiential ways. The night event will include exclusive photo opportunities, character meet and greets, bespoke activations and chances to just hang out with your fandom tribe.
