Will the Traitors recruit another player to the dark side?

As host Alan Cumming says, “Trust no one” — except us! Because we’ve got the answer to your burning question: Is a new episode of The Traitors on tonight?
Whether they’ve been banished at the Round Table or murdered by their fellow competitors, 14 cast members have left the show’s Scottish castle forever. Now, only eight contestants remain, all vying for the $250,000 prize. At this point, with the potential of a new Traitor in the mix, it’s anyone’s game. Read on to discover if there will be more murder and mayhem in the castle tonight.
Does a new episode of The Traitors come on tonight, Thursday, February 20, 2025?
Yes, the Emmy-winning reality competition is back and deadlier than ever. The Traitors Season 3, Episode 9, premieres on Peacock on Thursday, February 20 at 9/8c.
Last week’s episode, “A B**** Is Lying,” kicked off the high drama with a face-to-face murder in a church. Out of four possible choices, the two Traitors Carolyn Wiger and Danielle Reyes decided to send Chrishell Stause packing (in a coffin, no less), saying she was too much of a Faithful for her own good and would never be voted out.
During the episode’s Round Table, the group had very few clues to go on, especially with flashy game players like Boston Rob and Bob the Drag Queen long gone. The players circled back to a misguided coffin theory from an earlier season, which had already claimed the lives of two innocents, Jeremy Collins and Nikki Garcia. Ciara Miller was added to that list and wrongly banished from the game. The shield she found during the week’s mission proved useless against her fellow Faithfuls.
Even The Traitors imperturbable host often finds the Round Table harrowing. In a candid interview with Kelly Clarkson, Cumming described the series as “Lord of the Flies with Botox,” revealing that he keeps a straight face for the cameras while secretly cringing at some of the cast member’s decisions.
“When I’m in the room with the big Round Table, it actually goes on much longer than you see on telly… “ the Scottish actor stated, adding that he frequently feels “awful” for the contestants. "But sometimes they also make really stupid decisions. They’re all mad and can think of nothing else.”
A new Traitor in the turret?
The episode closed out with a thrilling twist: Traitors Carolyn and Danielle met once again in the turret for a midnight murder, but this time, Cumming offered them the chance to recruit a third Traitor instead. Danielle advocated bringing her “bestie” Britney Haynes into the group, but Carolyn immediately scoffed at the idea, and it remains unclear if the two can come to an agreement. Will a trio of Traitors wreak havoc in Episode 9? We’ll have to tune in to find out!
New episodes of The Traitors Season 3 premiere on Peacock on Thursdays at 9/8c, with the season finale and reunion premiering on March 6.
All episodes of Seasons 1 and 2 are available to stream right now on Peacock.
