What is Grosse Pointe Garden Society about?
In a well-to-do Michigan suburb, four unlikely friends bond over their love of gardening and dark secrets from their pasts, which come to a head when they murder an as-yet-not-revealed townsperson and bury the body beneath the very soil that brought them together. It's a twisted, soapy romp full of vivid characters and beautiful blooms.
Ben Rappaport, who plays divorced dad Brett, recently revealed that even the actors didn't know who was in the make-shift grave while shooting many of the episodes. “As a cast, we just found out very recently that information [about who is killed], which of course we are sworn to secrecy about. But for a long time we did not know,” Rappaport told Us Weekly.

He added, “That’s part of what was so fun about the twists and turns. Just like the audience, they really kept us guessing. As an actor, that’s part of the reason I really enjoy doing TV. You play a character through a variety of different circumstances and journeys. I really enjoyed not knowing to be honest with you.”
Dig into the mystery, literally, with new episodes of Grosse Pointe Garden Society every Sunday at 10/9c on NBC and the next day on Peacock.
