The end is near on Deal or No Deal Island Season 2, and with every player laser-focused on getting to that final battle against the Banker, the alliance-driven numbers game has never been more paramount.
Survivor stars David Genat and Parvati Shallow — alongside their sweet, unassuming "son" Dickson Wong — are the mother and father of The Family alliance, a crew of Season 2 heavyweights that hasn't hesitated to make explosive moves in the game to get ahead. As the game approaches its gripping conclusion, their rivals are desperate to get these powerhouses off the island. However, on DONDI's latest, David and Parvati delivered a masterclass on how they've carved out such glimmering reality TV resumes. The "Golden God" and "Black Widow" of Survivor teamed up to crush it during the Excursion, leaving their competition helpless to how things would shake out at Temple.

David Genat and Parvati Shallow dominated the Excursion
After the DONDI players joined host Joe Manganiello, he revealed they were going on the Banker's Hike. Along the way, the players would be compelled to consider when to stand their ground or cut their losses to eliminate the biggest liabilities on the island. It was an alliance-driven numbers game, and they all needed to be back within 45 minutes to keep the pot high. No strangers to high-stakes voting scenarios, Survivor Australia's David and Traitors/Survivor star Parvati turned on their A-game and got sublime results by the journey's end.
The first stop tasked the players to vote out the least fearless of the competition, leading Alexis Lete and Dickson to head back due to lingering resentments among the group. After the group hustled through a pit of jungle creatures, their next vote allowed only three people to continue who enjoyed "hanging out" — or, as Parvati proclaimed confidently — spending time with each other. Parvati then wasted no time spearheading the vote against C.K. and her freshly-minted rival, Phillip Solomon.
Slowly but surely, Parvati managed to steer the entire numbers game and, alongside David, dominated each physical challenge they encountered. The hike was intended to eliminate liabilities, and by the end, it undoubtedly solidified the biggest threats. As Parvati, David, and La Shell Wooten emerged as frontrunners, the next stop asked them to gear up and dangle on a wire over a massive gorge to continue their trek.
Less than thrilled with the sight of the crashing waves below, La Shell agreed to head back to Manganiello and the group, leaving the Survivor champs to run through the jungle and cross the finish line with just seconds to spare.

Parvati was beaming by the end of the Excursion after not only crushing the hike but also pulling the highest-value case. With all the power in her hands, she was forced to choose between Dickson or La Shall to face the Banker. The writing was on the wall — was Parvati going to send Dickson to the Banker and see her "son" potentially eliminated?
No, but she'd watch La Shell deal the devastating blow if she won.
