What Is Blake Shelton Doing Now That He's Left The Voice?
The cowboy left his red chair after Season 23, but he's still keeping busy — and having a blast on his ranch.
Blake Shelton's name has been synonymous with The Voice ever since the show premiered in 2011. He appeared as a Coach for every season of the show — and became a household name in the process.
But after Season 23, he decided his time in the red chair was over. He announced in October 2022 that he was leaving the series.
“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while, and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after Season 23,” Shelton said in a statement. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people; you are the best."
And while Season 24 — featuring Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend. — has been great fun so far, fans still miss Shelton, naturally.
