Gwen Stefani's 2nd Live Show Look on The Voice Nodded to Her Hit, 'Sweet Escape'
She can be our favorite girl!
Gwen Stefani transported us back to 2006 this Tuesday (November 15) on the second Live Show for The Voice.
During the episode, she rocked a striped black-and-white crop top with a turtleneck and had her platinum blonde locks tied up in a high ponytail. The look is very reminiscent of her music video for "The Sweet Escape," her chart-topping song from 2006, in which she wore a striped long-sleeved shirt and her hair in a high ponytail. Coincidence? We think not. As the lyrics say, she wants to recreate a place that's her own world.
For the November 15th outfit, she matched the crop top with a Barbie pink fringe jacket, fishnets, distressed denim shorts, and knee-high white boots. She also posed with her hubby, fellow Coach Blake Shelton, for a pic, showing off her glam. “Coaches on TV, teammates in real life,” the post captioned.
On November 14, for The Voice's first Live Show, Stefani rocked a shimmery gold top and skirt set from Dolce & Gabbana. She said on the red carpet that her sleek vintage bob for the look was inspired by both Samantha from Bewitched and Sharon Stone from Casino.
To see what awesome outfits the Coaches will rock next during the Live Shows, watch The Voice on NBC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock.
