Anderson reprised his role for the revival in Season 22, partnering up with Jeffrey Donovan's Det. Frank Cosgrove until Bernard departed from the precinct in the Season 22 finale. Anderson has been busy since leaving his Law & Order mainstay, taking his latest adventure overseas for a hilariously heartwarming journey with his mother, Doris Hancox.

The synopsis for the docuseries teases, "As a token of [Anderson's] appreciation, he is treating her to the trip of a lifetime — a six-week excursion through England, France, and Italy — to discover some of Europe’s wonders for her first time and experience a real, cultural vacation filled with history and luxury."
