Kelly Clarkson Blessed The Voice Season 22 Finale With a Gorgeous Performance

A very special guest stopped by The Voice Season 22 Live Finale: Kelly Clarkson!
The beloved pop icon, who's returning as a Coach for Season 23, performed a solo version of her festive duet with Ariana Grande, “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me?" from her album When Christmas Comes Around… And of course, she knocked it out of the park. (Are you surprised?) For the set, she wore a gorgeous blue dress...appropriately matched by her gorgeous vocals!
Clarkson's Christmas music is incredible, and super-fans may be surprised to learn the origin story of her original holiday tune "Merry Christmas (To the One I Used to Know)."
"There aren’t many holiday songs for people feeling lost and just plain sad," said Clarkson. "The holidays come with a whole range of emotions. I’m going to be real with y’all: When I wrote this next song, I was crying my face off, which happens even at Christmas time. I’d just put my kids to bed, and I was just going through it, having a really hard time."
Maybe we'll see more performances from Clarkson as a Coach on The Voice Season 23. “I am so excited to be back with my Voice family!” Clarkson said when news of her return was announced in October. “Let’s do this, Team Kelly!”
