Suits: L.A. Cast Gets Even Bigger With Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins
Lex Scott Davis is joining Stephen Amell and Josh McDermitt on the cast of Suits: L.A.
The cast of Suits: L.A. just keeps getting bigger. The pilot for the Los Angeles-based spinoff to the hit USA Network original series is adding Lex Scott Davis to the cast alongside previously announced actors Stephen Amell and Josh McDermitt.
Davis will be playing a character named Erica Rollins, described as a “savvy and strong-willed rising star at the firm who is shrewd enough to test the loyalty of her associates only to admire some of them for not having any.”

Like the original Suits, the spinoff will follow the lives of high-powered lawyers at a particular law firm. In this case, it will be the firm started by Ted Black (Amell) and Stuart Lane (McDermitt) appropriately called Black Lane Law. The firm reportedly specializes in criminal and entertainment law. Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, moved to the City of Angels to help bury some demons of the past. However, his firm is at a crisis point and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.
While not much is known about the other characters who populate Black Lane Law, a previous press release stated: “Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”
So, it seems Davis’ Erica Rollins will be among the many players bringing personal and professional drama to the office. The actress has been in many roles throughout her career, including starring a Nya in The First Purge and Quiara Thompson on The L Word: Generation Q. She made her television debut as Toni Braxton in the Lifetime movie Unbreak My Heart. Since then, she’s worked on a handful of other TV shows including Training Day and Rebel. Now, she’ll join the expanding world of Suits. However, it’s unclear what form that will take.
While fans far and wide are hoping they’ll see a return of beloved characters like Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) or Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), there has been no word yet on whether or not any of these original characters will make their way from the Big Apple to Los Angeles to give fans an update on what they’ve been doing since the 2019 finale of Suits (not to mention do some legal sparring with the new cast).
However, several previous Suits cast members have said they’re willing to come back if series creator Aaron Korsh gives them a call.
