How to Watch

Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and Peacock, streaming next day on Peacock.

Aubrey Plaza!

Known for her deadpan, sarcastic humor, this funny woman’s career took off when she played April Ludgate in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation (2009-2015).

Other notable roles from her include Scott Pilgrim Vs The World (2010), Life After Beth (2014), and Ingrid Goes West (2017).

Most recently, she has starred in Season 2 of the hit HBO series The White Lotus, playing the role of Harper Spiller, which also garnered her a Golden Globe nomination. She also played the lead role in the 2022 film Emily the Criminal, which follows the story of a young woman who conducts credit card scams.

“It's just, like, an undeniably good script, and I was like, I gotta make this,” Plaza said on her appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers in December 2022 of Emily the Criminal. “There’s something kind of gritty about it."

This will be Plaza’s first time as a Saturday Night Live Host, and we can’t wait to see what she brings to the table with her signature sense of humor.

Who will be the musical guest on the January 21, 2023 episode of Saturday Night Live?

Sam Smith!

The English singer rose to fame with their smash-hit 2014 song “Stay With Me” off of their debut album titled In the Lonely Hour. Smith has garnered a whopping four Grammy wins, including Best Pop Vocal Album, Best New Artist, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year.

In 2022, they released the hit song “Unholy” with Kim Petras, which became their first number-one single in the United States.

Smith has previously performed as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live in both 2014 and 2017.
