Magnum P.I. series finale recap: Higgins found an engagement ring
Magnum (Jay Hernandez) and Higgins (Perdita Weeks) were kissing in bed before getting ready for a night with Rick Wright (Zachary Knighton) and Suzy (Betsy Phillips). After Magnum jumped in the shower, Higgins opened his dresser drawer to a shocking discovery: a dazzling diamond engagement ring. Cue Miggins fans freaking out everywhere—it seems Magnum wants to propose!
Despite this surprise, Higgins was less than enthusiastic about the find, confiding in Kumu (Amy Hill) about her apprehension to allow people to love her.
After Magnum got a call about a new client, Higgins welcomed the distraction as she silently panicked about the ring.

(Stephen Hill) had plans to expand his helicopter company. Rick and Suzy were in love and on their way to the altar. But what was next for him? Where did he and Higgins stand? Her reaction to the thought of marrying Magnum didn't make him feel very good.
Thankfully, they were able to clear the air. Higgins realized her panic over a shared future with Magnum was unwarranted, and she apologized for her strange response to the ring.

Higgins took a beat before telling Magnum, "Well, just for the record, if in the future you did ask me to marry you, I'd say yes."
Magnum and Higgins shared a heartwarming kiss as they danced surrounded by their loved ones. At last, the waters are calm on Magnum P.I., and fans can rest easy.
