Hot Wheels™: Ultimate Challenge dropped its first trailer and car fans are not going to want to miss it!
At long last Hot Wheels™: Ultimate Challenge dropped its first trailer online for fans to finally soak in all the wild and ambitious designs the automotive Superfans have dreamed up in Season 1.
The first trailer showcases a slew of modern Hot Wheels™ enthusiasts who, in addition to their love of the diecast collectibles, share one thing in common: They have real cars that are important to them that they want to absolutely trick out into seemingly impossible life-sized Hot Wheels.

When we say “trick out” we mean it. The trailer alone showcases a man turning his father’s old car into a skateboard ramp on wheels. Someone else notes how excited they are to turn a minivan into “the biggest, the baddest funeral van that’s ever existed.” As if that wasn’t larger-than-life enough, the trailer also gives a brief look at the celebrity guest judges who are joining the competition for all the puzzling, over-the-top and imaginative fun.
For those unfamiliar Hot Wheels™: Ultimate Challenge is a 10-episode car makeover series hosted by former Top Gear host and NASCAR features reporter Rutledge Wood all inspired by the best-selling toy car collection America knows and loves. Each episode takes passionate car lovers into the Chrome Zone where they’ll get the chance to let their imaginations run wild and transform a seemingly ordinary vehicle into the life-sized Hot Wheels model of their dreams with the help of a handful of automotive experts known as “The Car Pool.”
In each episode, celebrity guest judges will join Wood to declare a winner who will get $25,000 and send that lucky Superfan to the finals where they’ll have a shot at another cash prize and the opportunity to have their design turned into an official Hot Wheels model!
So, if you’ve ever looked at your favorite Hot Wheels model and thought “bigger, better and crazier,” you’ll probably get a kick out of Hot Wheels™: Ultimate Challenge.
