Gwen Stefani Dreamed About John Legend's Kids Esti & Wren Before They Were Born
The Voice Coach had a clairvoyant moment before she knew about Legend's youngest children, both born in 2023.
Is Gwen Stefani psychic?
In December 2022, shortly before John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's youngest children — Esti, 9 months, and Wren Alexander, 3 months — were born in 2023, Stefani somehow predicated the future in her sleep.
"So, Gwen tells me: 'You know, I just had a dream about seeing Chrissy holding two babies that were kind of like the same age, they were like not exactly twins,'" Legend said while on TODAY. "I hadn't told anyone we were having a baby with a surrogate in June. And Gwen had a dream, foreseeing this whole thing happening." How fascinating!

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcome new additions to their family in 2023
In January 2023, Teigen gave birth to baby Esti, and she and Legend announced the wonderful news via social media. They both shared the same picture of two of their older children, Luna and Miles, cradling the newborn and looking at her lovingly.
“On Friday, we welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens to our family, and our house is overflowing with love and joy. I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word…,” Legend captioned his post.
“She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens - the house is bustling and our family could not be happier 💕 Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes - we feel it all! X,” Teigen wrote.

Fast forward to June, and Legend and Teigen surprised fans by announcing the birth of baby Wren Alexander, who arrived via surrogate. In a sentimental Instagram post, she explained the emotional meaning behind the newborn's name.
"We also met the most incredible, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine, Alexandra. I knew she was a perfect match for us the moment we spoke to her. All of our wishes and dreams aligned. I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her belly and be able to feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives for as long as time would allow," Teigen wrote.
"We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you. Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts, and our home, are officially full," she gushed.
