Emmys Host Kenan Thompson Crashes Kelly Clarkson Show Premiere Singing 'Since U Been Gone'

The 2022 Emmys aired Monday, September 12 at 8/7c on NBC, and it didn't disappoint. Hosted by Saturday Night Live's Kenan Thompson, the awards show was a joyous (and funny!) celebration of television's best and brightest.

“Being a part of this incredible evening where we honor the best of the television community is ridiculously exciting, and to do it on NBC—my longtime network family—makes it even more special,” Thompson said in a statement. “Like all TV fans, I can’t wait to see the stars from my favorite shows.”

We couldn't either, and those stars certainly didn't disappoint in the fashion department. Everyone showed up and showed out on the red carpet. Dapper tuxes! Stunning gowns in a variety of colors, cuts, and textures! Stars from your favorite NBC shows particularly slayed the fashion game; Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay even walked the red carpet together. Obsessed!
