The Voice Coach received much welcomed visitors in Tennessee.
Dan Smyers' wife and fur babies just crashed his Heartbreak on the Map Tour in the best way.
On March 16, while performing in Knoxville, Tennessee, The Voice Coach was greeted by familiar faces backstage: His wife Abby, and two of their beloved dogs. In the snapshots that Smyers posted to his official Instagram page, we get to see Smyers embracing Abby, before they pose with their two pooches outside the tour bus.

Smyers and Abby are staying strong after receiving difficult health news regarding their dog Joy. On March 4, Abby made an emotional post on her Instagram stories revealing the news that the dog has been diagnosed with cancer, more specifically, an uncommon and "more aggressive" Grade 3 sarcoma.

''Our dogs are such a huge part of our lives. And we share them so often. And so many of you were so kind in reaching out when Joy had surgery,'' she told fans.
''I'm just trying to take everything step by step,'' she added, asking followers to pray for the dog. ''Her quality of life is the most important to me. We will do anything for her.''
Abby also shared a picture of the pooch lying on a couch, looking adorably sleepy. ''[Dan Smyers] and I will move mountains for her. She will get the best care and if anyone has advice, I would be so grateful.''
''We love this dog so much,'' Smyers wrote on the same photo on his Instagram story.

Dan Smyers' and Abby's marriage and fur babies
Smyers' and Abby's dogs are a fundamental aspect of their relationship. In fact, the couple first met at a Nashville-based animal rescue center in 2013, according to Country Living. The two tied the knot four years later, and three of their pups — Chief, Joy, and Ghost — were also present at the wedding party. Their 2016 wedding registry also requested donations for a local dog-fostering center, Proverbs 12:10 Animal Rescue.
“The father to our canines. The keeper of my heart. The hardest-working man I know. My best friend. My partner. My husband,” Abby wrote on Instagram in 2017 on a picture of their wedding day. “Thank you for making my dreams come true and choosing me to walk beside you in this life.”
