Get ready to download your next binge listen. Trust Fall, a new scripted podcast from Broadway Video and Audible, stars many of your Saturday Night Live favorites, including Season 49 cast members Colin Jost and Heidi Gardner. It debuts on Audible November 30.

How to Watch

Watch Saturday Night Live Saturdays at 11:30/10:30c on NBC and Peacock, streaming next day on Peacock.

According to a Deadline story announcing the podcast, Jost plays Trent Brockett, a "sad-sack" trying to climb the corporate ladder. In a scheme to seem more appealing as a candidate, single Trent decides to recruit a fake wife to bring to a conference. Per Deadline's description, Trent "signs up for a Sugar Daddy dating app and meets Carla, a smart, beautiful woman. When they meet in real life, Trent discovers that Carla is just… Carla (comedian Wanda Sykes), a brash, bold, much older woman who was trying to catfish him."

A classic sitcom-style fake marriage plot ensues, as the two attend Trent's team event as strangers with a faux family. "But while Trent and Carla navigate corny team-building exercises, drug-addled keynote addresses, and an alpine avalanche, something even stranger happens—they forge a friendship that challenges Trent’s whole career-obsessed perspective."

Colin Jost wears a gray suit with his hand touching his chin at his desk during the Weekend Update segment.

Who's in the Trust Fall cast?

In addition to "Weekend Update" co-anchor Jost and Sykes, the Trust Fall cast features SNL alums Cecily StrongRachel Dratch, Jay Pharoah and Chris Parnell, current SNL cast member Gardner, Neil Patrick Harris, and Michael Urie.

Who wrote Trust Fall?

Claire Friedman, an SNL writer who went to Harvard with Jost, is the writer and director of the series, which is based in part on her previous career on Wall Street. "I started my career in the business world, so it’s been fun to satirize the absurd corporate culture I lived through,” Friedman told Deadline. “I’ve been on the receiving end of a comedy improv troupe-led teambuilding session, and it has haunted me ever since.”
