Chris Pratt and Rob Lowe Just Had the Sweetest Parks and Recreation Reunion
Call all Parks and Recreation fans, Andy and Chris are back in action!
Parks and Recreation was a beloved NBC staple for seven side-splitting seasons, with many talented cast members skyrocketing to stardom in the years following the series finale. Among these iconic cast members are Rob Lowe and Chris Pratt, who recently reunited at a red carpet event.
While attending the premiere of Pratt's latest film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, the two former co-stars brushed shoulders on the red carpet. While Lowe chatted with Access, Pratt couldn't help but cut in to say hello.
Check out the crazy cosmic coincidence by watching the reunion here.
"No way!" Pratt exclaimed.
The two men shared a warm embrace, bringing back fuzzy memories for Parks and Rec fans everywhere.
“If you only support one Chris all year, this is the Chris!” Lowe told the cameras. You got to love the lifelong support!
"I'm so happy you're here!" Pratt told his Parks and Rec buddy before chatting about the latest Marvel release.
Parks and Recreation was spearheaded by Saturday Night Live alum Amy Poehler, who stars as the endlessly lovable Leslie Knope. Knope and the rest of the Indiana-based government office had a chokehold on fans, which was elevated even further by its ensemble cast, which included Lowe, Pratt, Nick Offerman, Aziz Ansari, Aubrey Plaza, and Adam Scott, to name a few.
The Parks and Rec cast has kept busy since the series finale, with Plaza even making her Host debut on Saturday Night Live earlier this year. Plaza was absolutely hysterical in every one of her sketches, but she took Studio 8H by storm during the "Weekend Update" portion of the night. While discussing employment in America, Colin Jost and Michael Che received an extra special visit from none other than Leslie Knope and April Ludgate.
The explosive moment was a bit of a double hitter, as Poehler used to be at the helm of the "Weekend Update" herself.
"Well, all you do is you show up every day, and you do the job," Leslie shrugged before hilariously changing the subject. "But I wanna pick your brain about this job, about this show. Because I used to watch this when Seth Meyers did it by himself, with no one else. He made it look really easy." (Poehler famously hosted "Update" with Meyers, hence the joke.)
We've got April and Leslie, and now Andy and Chris. Which Parks and Rec cast members will reunite next?
