Before his days as a Coach on The Voice, Blake Shelton once showed off his storytelling abilities with an intimate cover of "She Talks to Angels" by The Black Crowes.
The now-viral performance, which took place in Nashville in 2008, started out with Shelton strumming his acoustic guitar. He then crooned the hard-hitting lyrics with his signature southern drawl, immersing himself in the music.
