The Voice had a special fan watch party to celebrate the Live Shows on November 28 at the Ole Red venue in Nashville, Tennessee. And attendees were treated to a surprise virtual appearance by Ole Red's boss-man and Voice Coach, Blake Shelton.

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

Yes, Shelton tuned in all the way from Los Angeles to greet the eager crowd via video chat. After some brief technical difficulties, his face appeared on screen, projected onstage for the whole audience to see! First, he showed the crowd some behind-the-scenes footage of the Coaches' chairs as the Voice stage was being taken down. He then panned the camera to the Live Show audience members, who waved back with enthusiasm. “I thought we did a good job, though, tonight, whatcha think?” he asked cheekily. “I’m glad everybody’s there tonight. Thank y’all for coming out!”

This wasn’t the only exciting appearance from The Voice at the watch party that night. Season 21 runner-up Wendy Moten also stopped by and performed a highly emotional rendition of “Ain’t No Way” by Aretha Franklin. And her passionate vocals, as always, will give you chills.

Recently, Shelton announced that Season 23 of The Voice will be his last. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better, and it will always feel like home to me. It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns,” he said in a statement.

Watch The Voice on NBC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c and next day on Peacock.
