Anne Hathaway and Seth Meyers Compare Their Sweet Wedding Anniversary Celebrations
The She Came to Me actress celebrated 11 years with husband Adam Shulman in a way that made her say, "this is the right guy for me," while Meyers and his wife marked their tenth with a creative party.
Actress Anne Hathaway and Seth Meyers have something in common: Both of them recently celebrated a wedding anniversary with their respective spouses. While Meyers and his wife, Alexi Ashe, have been married for 10 years, 2023 marked the 11th for Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman.
"So what did you do for the big 11?" Meyers asked, during Hathaways's October 5 visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers.
"Got rained out," Hathaway replied. Her wedding anniversary just happened to fall on the same day that extremely heavy rain shut down New York City and caused major flooding throughout the Tri-State area.
"That's literally the skies sending an omen," Meyers laughed. Instead, Hathaway and Shulman celebrated by getting extremely cozy.

"We just kind of re-pajamed," Hathaway said.
"You know, I had a moment when I was curled up on his chest and we were watching like, hour three of Abbott Elementary, and I was like, 'I'm so happy,'" Hathaway continued. "I was like, 'this is the right guy for me!
"There you go!" Meyers told the actress, who was visiting the show to promote the film She Came to Me (after receiving a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement permitting interviews).

How Seth Meyers and Alexi Ashe celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary
As for Meyers and his wife's ten-year milestone on September 1, they marked the occasion in a super creative way.
"We had a lovely dinner party," Meyers said. "It was five couples and we all talked about the day we met." Seth Meyers first met Alexi Ashe at fellow SNL alum Chris Kattan's wedding.
"Unfortunately, the last guy who told a story was way more romantic than the other guys had been, in a way that made us be like, 'can we go again?" Meyers added. "I didn't realize you were allowed to talk like that."
Meyers commemorated his anniversary with Ashe in a September 1 Instagram post, sharing a beautiful candid photo of his wife. "Ten years ago today I married the brilliant and beautiful Alexi Ashe, photographed here maintaining her grace while three children scream at her off camera and I ask if she’s seen my wallet and right shoe," Meyers wrote in the caption.
Hathaway told Meyers that she actually met the talk show host for the first time just ahead of meeting Shulman in 2008, which she remembers vividly because she was hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time.
"It was one of the most exciting weeks of my life," she told Meyers. "It still is!"
