An Adele Concert Special Is Coming to NBC

Adele fans, rejoice: A concert special is coming. 

Titled An Audience With Adele, the special will air Sunday, March 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and be available to stream the next day on Peacock. The concert takes place at the iconic London Palladium, and it marks the first time Adele has performed in her hometown since 2017. 

Fans can expect Adele to perform many of her chart-topping hits, including "Someone Like You" and "Hello," plus tracks off her recently-released album, 30. So, yes, be prepared to sob (again) to "Easy on Me." As the concert goes on, celebrities in the star-studded audience will have a chance to ask Adele questions, and the Grammy winner will even be visited by a surprise guest from her childhood. That means Adele, queen of making us cry, will surely be crying, too. Or at least holding back tears in an effort to preserve her makeup! A pop icon's gotta do what a pop icon's gotta do. 

Adele, of course, is one of the most celebrated entertainers on the planet, having won 15 Grammy Awards (including two for Album of the Year), 18 Billboard Music Awards, five American Music Awards, and an Oscar. Her latest album, 30, topped the charts worldwide and received universal acclaim from critics. Rolling Stone gave the album a perfect score and dubbed it Adele's best work yet. 

"She’s never sounded more ferocious than she does on 30—more alive to her own feelings, more virtuosic at shaping them into songs in the key of her own damn life," critic Rob Sheffield wrote in his review.
